This Schneider cuckoo clock is a real masterpiece. Made in the Black Forest region of Germany, this clock features a wood chopper, a sawing machine, dancing couples figurines, and a water wheel, all which move on the half and full hour with the call of the cuckoo. The large roof is covered with individually hand-laid shingles, and on this design, the bell in the bell tower on top strikes instead of a traditional gong. This cuckoo clock is finished with an antique stain and additional accent colors giving it a realistic and homely feel. Three pinecone weights hang from the bottom: one to keep the time, one for the cuckoo call, and a third for the music that plays, all on both the half and full hour.
